Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple is one of Bali’s six directional temples. Though a small temple was claimed to have existed beforehand, the structure was significantly expanded by a Javanese sage. More remarkable than the temple itself is its location, perched on a steep cliff 70 metres above the roaring ocean waves. A must place to visit with spectacular views.

Sunset Dinner at Jimbaran

The sunset in Jimbaran is beautiful. We arrived at this beach at about 5PM, and was recommended to have our dinner at New Langsam cafe. We had one of the best seats! We ordered some food, drinks, and enjoyed the romantic sunset.

Munduk Waterfall

Munduk village has a wonderful 200 meters high waterfall with water containing sulfur that can help to rejuvenate your skin or recover your skin problems like dermatitis, itch, and many others. There are also hectares of clove, coffee plantations, and any other features that might lure travelers to stop to enjoy the stunning views there.

If you are able to visit Munduk, it will take you into a very different atmosphere, feeling like you are on the top of a mountain and when the sunset comes, you can see very exciting views and the sea-water shining in the distance.

Gunung Kawi Temple

Gunung Kawi, one of Bali’s oldest monuments, means “carving in the mount”.

Constructed along a river in the 11th century, it is a complex of pavilions and rock-cut shrines carved into the hillside approximately 17 kilometers north east of Ubud, just after the town of Tampaksiring.

We have been neglecting our blog for a long while now due to busy schedules, work and what’s not. Time does passes by really quickly. And before you know it, it’s Christmas!

Hubby and I just got back from Bali not too long ago. We had our well deserved break and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Wish we didn’t had to come back. Everyone said traveling to Bali was expensive! It wasn’t for us. Plan your trip wisely by:

Keeping yourself updated with the latest air flight promotions ie Air Asia.

Booking your accommodation early ie Asia Rooms. We had a good deal.

Do some research on hiring a good and reasonably priced travel guide. Trip Advisor would be the best.

Eat where the locals eat. You get to experience their local food and sink your teeth in to their local delicacies such as Babi Guling.
